We were honored when Dory Lee, a resident of Cumberland House, invited us to join her and her son Jim for a lemon pudding party. We were pleased to be a part of this experience with Dory Lee and Jim. It is a privilege to be involved in the life journeys of our patients. They find joy in simple moments, such as rolling their beds outside, allowing them to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Visits from Ava the dog are always a highlight, as evidenced by the brightening of their faces. We also cherish the opportunity to explore their blessing baskets with them and cover them with handmade quilts and crochet blankets lovingly crafted by our community. The personalized touch of handmade cards and bibs brings immense happiness. Moreover, we take pride in recognizing our veterans with certificates and pins, creating lasting memories.
