Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all our loved ones and friends from our home to yours.

The past few weeks at Sky View have been filled with hustle, bustle, and so much good cheer. From our first Holiday Light Parade and Tree Lighting, to our Resident and Family Holiday Party, charitable efforts supporting our wonderful veterans and local food pantries, and plenty of fun with ugly sweaters, festive hats, and candy jar winners, Sky View truly became a hub of holiday joy.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this season so meaningful, memorable, and full of heart.

This effort began with a simple conversation and quickly became something much bigger. After learning that many homeless veterans cannot access even basic necessities without something as simple as socks, the message was brought back to the team, and compassion turned into action. 🙌

Employees from Waterview Hills, Salem Hills, and Skyview came together to launch the Homeless Veterans Survival Bag Drive, collecting socks, gloves, hats, hygiene items, and solar-powered phone chargers. Each item was packed with care, purpose, and respect for those who served our country.

With support from the local newspaper and surrounding communities, the impact grew even further. This initiative was never just about donations. It was about dignity, humanity, and reminding veterans that they are not forgotten. A powerful example of what happens when people come together with heart and intention. ❤️

A Very Special Shout-out to Sharon Johannes, Rehab Tech, for going several extra miles for our residents. We recently held our Holiday Light Parade and Sharon stepped into the "Parade Hostess" role effortlessly and genuinely, making sure all of the patients and families were happy and secure as they watched the parade from the warmth of our Rehab Atrium. Sky View was a holiday whirlwind of joy and celebration last night! 🎉

After our Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting, residents and families gathered in our beautifully decorated Main Living Room for the Holiday Party. 🎄✨

The night was filled with entertainment, delicious fare and treats, and wonderful company. It was a festive evening that brought so much joy to all who attended! 💫
