We were so excited to have the St. Michael School Pre-K4 students here with us today. They brought Halloween cheer while singing their songs and the residents loved seeing them dressed as the cutest little scarecrows. They even sang Happy Birthday to Ms. Pearl (maw-maw), one of our residents who's birthday was today.

🎃 Sweet moments and candy 🍫 at The Acadian at Southwind this afternoon! Our residents had a blast handing out candy and seeing all the adorable trick-or-treaters. Their smiles and laughter made it a truly special Halloween for everyone. ❤️👻 Thank you to everyone who came out and made this an unforgettable afternoon.

As part of Elder Outreach’s beauty salon makeover challenge, The Acadian teamed up with residents and staff to reimagine our salon. And we’re proud to unveil Salon de Jolie!

With gold accents, dimmable lighting, a comfortable waiting area, large mirrors, custom curtains, and new salon furnishings, every detail was chosen to create comfort, confidence, and joy. Because in person-centered care, design isn’t just about how it looks—it’s about how it makes you feel.

Residents were delighted with the transformation and couldn’t wait to experience their first appointments in the new space!
