"Laissez les bons temps rouler" 💛💚💜

Today the residents enjoyed a day full of Mardi Gras festivities! First, we headed downtown to watch the parade. They enjoyed seeing the different floats and catching all the beads. 🎭

During the Mardi Gras party, we indulged in a few different kinds of king cakes. Bavarian cream & blueberry cream cheese from Gautreaux's, and two different boudin king cakes that were homemade! One had a crawfish cream sauce and the other one had Steen syrup topped with cracklins! They were all so delicious! There was none left!! 🦞

To top of the day we added a royal touch to this occasion as we crowned Mr. Dalton & Mrs.Mervina as our 2026 Mardi Gras King and Queen! 🫅👸 Congratulations to you both! They had a wonderful and memorable time with their family and residents who came out to celebrate with them.

✨We missed the official day to post, but our Activity Director, Mrs. Bethany Comeaux, deserves a standing ovation every single day! Bethany is truly the heart and spirit of our facility.

❤️ We enjoyed a heartwarming Valentine's lunch filled with laughter, good company, and of course, unlimited breadsticks! Seeing everyone share stories and smiles over plates of pasta was so special. It's moments like these that remind us how important connection is, especially on Valentine's Day. Here's to many more shared meals and memories! 🥂🍝

Love was definitely in the air today! ❤️ Our residents celebrated Valentine's Day in the sweetest way possible - with delicious strawberry milkshakes! 🍓🥤 But that's not all; we also had a special guest, Rio, the Valentine pup, who was giving out free kisses! 🐶💋 It was a day filled with love, laughter, and lots of sweet moments. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! 🎉

Just finished up the most delightful afternoon with our residents, thanks to a collaboration with the Crowley Garden Club! 🌸🌿 They shared their expertise, and our residents unleashed their creativity, making some seriously stunning flower arrangements. It was so cool to see everyone's unique style come to life with each bouquet. Events like these are what make our community so special – bringing people together, learning new skills, and adding a little beauty to our day. 💐✨
