We’re excited to announce our first Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) Certification Training of 2026! 🥳🎉 This 3-day course includes classroom learning, hands-on practice with car seats and vehicles, and participation in a community child safety seat checkup. 👥 Open to all professional backgrounds — no prior experience required and you do not have to live/work in Jasper County.

💲 Cost: $125 total - $95 course fee + $30 local training fee (covers training-related expenses)

This free event connects parents and caregivers with resources, service providers, and first responders who support young people with disabilities.

Due to the snow and cold temperatures expected the rest of this week, we have decided to close our Car Seat Safety Stations in Lake, Porter, Starke, & La Porte Counties. The safety and well-being of our staff and families are our top priorities.

If you have a appointment scheduled with us at any of our car seat fitting stations, we will contact you to reschedule. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to stay warm and safe 💙 We look forward to welcoming you back when we open again on Monday, 1/19!
