As we all bustle around the kitchen preparing holiday favorites, it’s important to keep little ones safe. Here are a few quick Thanksgiving safety tips for kids to help keep the day joyful and accident-free:

👨‍🍳 Kitchen Safety
• Keep kids 3 feet away from hot ovens, pots, and dishes.
• Turn pot handles inward and keep hot dishes away from edges.
• Never leave children unattended while cooking.

🍗 Food Safety
• Fully thaw your turkey & cook to 165°F.
• Kids should never help carve or handle sharp utensils.
• Let hot foods cool before serving to little ones.

🏠 Home & Travel Safety
• Test smoke alarms/CO detectors.
• Use flameless candles and secure household hazards.
• Make sure kids are properly buckled when traveling.

We had a wonderful day at the Griffith Fire Department making sure every seat was ready for the holiday season 🎅🏼🦃🎄🕯️With holiday travel just around the corner, now’s the time to double-check your child’s seat and make sure they’re riding safely — every trip, every time. 🚗✨
