We are so proud of our friend! We have watched him grow and work so hard to become an independent walker with his SMOs. He started off with solid ankle AFOs and his walker, graduated to hinged AFOs with his walker, and is now walking independently with SMOs. Way to go!!

It's true, boys are 1.5 times more likely to develop positional plagiocephaly or brachycephaly than girls. Boys have larger head circumferences than girls, the larger and less flexible male head is more susceptible to deformational forces in utero and during delivery causing plagiocephaly.
