Layer 3. Still not completed.

After layer 2 (pic 2) I had to change the shape of the water, add depth to the clouds in the distance, blue layer to the sky, highlights, details but need to wait for this paint to dry (which is why I don’t have patience for oils;)

There’s an ugly layer 1 underneath using up previous artwork’s leftover paint, couldn’t find a picture of it though.

Why do I layer paintings? So I can create depth, texture, and complex colors by building up multiple applications of paint.
