Like many in our community we are no strangers to dificult times.
With SNAP benefits being paused on Nov. 1st, we would like to offer our Community Special, a Free Bean or Beef Burrito, when you dine in. Just mention you would like the “Community Special,” and no questions asked.
Let’s all come together to help our community.

Dear neighbors and friends,

This month may bring some extra challenges, and through it all, the spirit of our Hilltop neighborhood shines brighter than ever. We’re grateful beyond words for the generosity and resilience that define our community, and we want you to know that you’re not alone.

For next week, Hilltop Neighborhood House will be open an extra day to support everyone during this time. Here’s what to know:

Monday: Hilltop Mission Kitchen, open for hot meals from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Tuesday: Hilltop Food Pantry, 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Thursday: Hilltop Food Pantry, 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

It’s a new month, so all are welcome—our doors are open to all in Valparaiso and Center Township who need a helping hand or a friendly face. A huge thank you to every wonderful member of our community for the kindness you’ve shown and the support you’ve shared. We’ve also received some donations to help meet this new demand, however more are needed and your generosity makes all the difference.

A small note: please be prepared to stand in a line that may be a bit longer than usual when coming to the food pantry or mission kitchen. We will get to everyone, and every person will be cared for with patience and respect.

Locations (Valparaiso, IN):
Hilltop Food Pantry: 606 Union
Mission Kitchen (open Mondays): 608 Union

If you have questions, please call 219-477-4222. We’re all in this together, and together we will get through it.

With gratitude and warmth,
Hilltop Neighborhood House

Your care and dedication remind us that community is strongest when we lift each other up. Thank you for being a beacon of kindness.

If you would like to drop off donations, please call 219-477-4222 and let us know a time so that we can be ready for you. We accept donations Monday through Friday.
