Winfield Woods Chiropractic will meet many of your healthcare needs. Our office is located in the Crown Point/Winfield area and brings many years of experience in the healing arts. A wide variety of conditions are treated for all ages, which include: on-the-job injuries, automobile accidents and athletic injuries. In addition to chiropractic manipulation, we offer a variety of services including: acupuncture and nutritional counseling. Utilization of nutrition and physical medicine allow many conditions to be resolved. Dr. Popp graduated with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Indiana University Bloomington in 2005. Shortly after, he began his studies in the field of chiropractic at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. Dr. Popp chose National University to attain his doctorate because of its esteem throughout the health professions and strong focus on research and evidence based practice. In addition to his chiropractic training, he also attained his Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. He believes that with sufficient nutrients the body heals more quickly and efficiently and is also less prone to reinjury. Dr. Jeremy Popp began practicing at Winfield Woods Chiropractic in 2011. He came to us from his own practice "Popp Family Chiropractic" in Homewood, IL and has since become licensed in acupuncture. Dr. Jeremy Popp has had a rich history in the chiropractic community through his family, dating back over 100 years. The experience he provides is second to none and the expert care that is put in to each and every visit will make you feel like this is not just "another" trip to a care giver, but to a professional who cares for your health and wellbeing. Dr. Popp uses several chiropractic techniques that allow for healing and rehabilitation of the body. A few of those techniques include: Cox Traction, The activator method chiropractic technique (AMCT), the diversified technique (DT), Bio-cranial Corrections and the Thompson Webster technique, which is utilized during pregnancy to promote proper pelvic function and to aid in proper positioning of your baby.
