Last night, Eagle Park Community School's Family Fun Night, themed around W***y Wanka & the Chocolate Factory, was a significant success. The event brought together Students, Staff, and families for a fun-filled evening of dancing, eating, and silent auctions.

National ASL Day 2026 is observed on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, celebrating the rich history and culture of American Sign Language. It marks the founding of the first permanent school for the deaf in the U.S. in 1817 and promotes awareness of the language, Deaf community, and inclusion efforts nationwide.
Sign language is primarily used by Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities, including over 70 million deaf individuals globally. It is also utilized by hearing individuals, such as family members of Deaf people, interpreters, those with speech difficulties, and individuals with Autism or Down Syndrome. ASL assists individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other non-verbal situations, offering a sometimes more natural, physical way to communicate.
