I've been drinking green smoothies for years now but this recipe has been a great reminder of how a whole foods, plant based green smoothie can improve your health. I recently listened to a podcast by Dr. Brooke Goldner and started drinking this smoothie daily. I really feel the difference! My advice is to start with two tablespoons of chia seeds and slowly increase to 1/4 cup. I like to add zest and juice of a lemon, ginger and my preferred greens are kale, spinach, romaine, celery and microgreens. Sometimes I also add a scoop of a green powder.
Drinking these every day, meditating twice daily, walking and practicing yoga regularly make all the difference! XO Happy Spring! β€

75% greens & 25& fruit
Ingredients:
Organic dark leafy greens of choice
Organic frozen banana, mango, or pineapple
Organic frozen mixed berries
Organic flax or chia seeds (1/4 cup)
Fill your high powered blender with greens and fruit. Add the chia or flax to water and cover the greens. Blend and drink.
