Sadie is 105 years young and very keen to keep her God given natural teeth! With an inter disciplinary approach we were able to help her do exactly that.

It goes to show that
* there is no age limit to receive root canal treatment
* one can be smiling right after root canal treatment
* one can be enjoying a great meal the very next day after root canal treatment!

COVID 19 UPDATE

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, dental offices have been mandated by the Illinois State Dental Society to postpone all non-essential dental treatment until further notice. The Illinois State Dental Society has also urged the public to seek dental care only in case of emergencies.

Our practice is unique in that we provide endodontic treatment, which means most patients reaching out to us are in varying degrees of pain or have varying degrees of infection. In many cases, patients are in need of urgent / emergent dental treatment. Fortunately, most mild to moderate dental pain / infection can be managed, temporarily, with the judicious use of antibiotics, pain medications and other conservative measures. Whenever possible, our goal at Crystal Lake Endodontics is to help you with your symptoms using these conservative measures for the next few weeks.

We understand it will not be possible to indefinitely manage everyone’s symptoms / infection and definitive root canal treatment may be necessary. In such instances, we do have the ability to provide emergency treatment, with enhanced standard precautions and vigilance, using currently available resources.

If you were referred by your general dentist or are otherwise in need of our services, please do not hesitate to call our office, at 815-455-9155, and follow the prompts.

To slow down the spread of COVID19, there are several government mandates and restrictions in effect. In light of this, the Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association have made strong recommendations to postpone non-emergency dental services. Our office will be complying with this recommendation.

Accordingly, we will only offer emergency services until March 31st.

However, please do not hesitate to call us - we will be checking our messages and returning phone calls during this time.

The health and safety of our patients and staff are our highest priority. In addition to following standard precautions for infection control, we are keeping up-to-date with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and American Dental Association’s guidelines, to keep our patients and staff safe during dental treatment.
