Important Patient Notice from Nature Coast Health Care:

Over the past few days, we have experienced an unexpected provider departure combined with already full end-of-year schedules. This has temporarily impacted appointment availability, and during this transition some incorrect information was unfortunately communicated to patients. For that, we sincerely apologize.

We want to clearly reassure our community of the following:

We ARE accepting patients. We ARE honoring and accepting all contracted insurance plans (including UHC, BCBS and other commercial plans). No patient is being denied care.
No patient is being dismissed from our practice for availability or insurance reasons.

At this time, some routine visits may be rescheduled a few weeks out due to provider availability only—this is not a denial of care. If you are sick, experiencing urgent symptoms, or need immediate medical attention, you WILL be seen. Your health and safety always come first.

We are actively:
• Training additional staff
• Expanding scheduling support
• Strengthening internal communication
• Adding provider coverage as quickly as possible

If you were affected by recent scheduling changes or received confusing information, please contact our office directly and ask for leadership so we can help you immediately.

We deeply value the trust our patients place in us. This temporary disruption does not reflect our standards of care, and we are fully committed to making this right.

At Nature Coast Health Care our medical doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are dedicated to treating patients comprehensively as a whole person. We take a compassionate approach to preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases to care for you throughout life. Our medical providers are experts in family and internal medicine and thus provide services to treat routine problems such as a cold or the flu, or provide in-depth care for illnesses such as diabetes, chronic lung disease or heart disease. Keeping our patients happy and healthy longer through our excellent care and service in a cost effective manner is something we take seriously. We provide easy access through night-time and weekend call and we keep sick visits available throughout the week and make every effort to provide 5 star quality care.

We serve the communities of Crystal River, Homosassa, Beverly Hills, Hernando, Lecanto, Citrus Springs, Inglis, Yankeetown, Dunnellon, Inverness and the rest of Citrus County.
