We had the pleasure of getting to visit with these two sweet ladies Jami and Denine from Three Rivers Hospice. They brought Santa, gingerbread man trucks with tress and a house to paint. The residents are so thankful for volunteers that come and spend time with them. They all wanted to say thank you and that they really appreciated the day you spent with them. They can’t wait until next time.

We love being part of a community that cares! Today, our very own Americare team member (and proud Lions Club member!) joined forces with the local Lions to give back — helping with vision screenings and spreading smiles along the way! 👓💛

Happy Halloween to everyone. We had a few visitors at Americare Cuba Village. Our friends held out until the end, one said “we might as well wait until 8 to close the doors. Needless to say they all had a great time and some prolly had a spike in the blood sugar. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and gave our friends a smile.

We had planned on a picnic and ride today. It started to sprinkle and was rather chilly when we started loading. So we decided to stay on the bus and take a view at the Ozark Outdoors in Leasburg. Well who knew we could have such a fabulous time. People and kids were waving at us as we went through. The resident loved it.

We made a trip to Rolla to the Phelps Senior Center. We had a wonderful lunch and and hit the resale shop but nothing topped our day better then to see Monty.
Thank you for always giving our residents at Cuba Village a good time.

Eva and her pets came in on Thursday she had a few babies “ Mimi Pins” they were about 5 weeks. Our friends were tying to talk here out of them.
She also had some sweet lil bunnies they love to be held and loved on.
Always such a good time with the sweet pets. Thank you Eva for sharing your time with our resident.
