🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to give thanks to all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.
Your courage, dedication, and love for country remind us what true service looks like.

At Restoring Women Outreach, we honor the men and women whose strength and sacrifice make it possible for us to live with hope and opportunity each day.

Thank you, Veterans.
We salute you — today and always. ❤️🤍💙

💫 Honoring Brooke’s Journey of Hope and Service 💫

Tonight, we were honored to see Brooke Polson recognized at The Link’s Gala for her courage, dedication, and the way she uses her recovery to serve others. 🌿

Brooke’s story reminds us what true transformation looks like — not only finding freedom from addiction, but finding purpose in helping others. From volunteering at the food pantry to supporting other women in our program, she leads with kindness, compassion, and strength.

In Brooke’s own words:

“Helping others is a key factor in recovery… People coming into the food bank are often facing difficult times, so a simple smile and hug makes their day.”

We are so proud of Brooke and all of the women who continue to shine their light through service and love. ❤️

🌿 Time is not refundable.
Every moment we’re given is a chance to grow, heal, and move forward.
Use your time to build purpose, to love deeper, and to walk closer with God.

“We have recovered, and have been given the power to help others.” — Big Book, page 132

At Restoring Women Outreach, we see this truth lived out every day.
When a woman finds healing, she becomes a light for the next one still searching. 💫
Recovery doesn’t end with us—it begins again every time we reach back to lift another up.

✨ Together, we’re proof that healing is possible, and helping others is powerful.

We had such a wonderful time at our Fall Family Night! 🍂
Laughter, fellowship, and joy filled the evening — a reminder of the beautiful community God has blessed us with at Restoring Women Outreach. ❤️

🌿 Let Today Be… 🌿

Let today be the day I stop wrestling with what’s already in God’s hands.
Let today be the day I breathe before I react, pause before I panic, and pray before I spiral.
Let today be gentle, not perfect — and let my heart stay open even when things feel uncertain.

Let today be the day I remember how far I’ve come…
How many battles I’ve already won by choosing sobriety, by choosing faith over fear.

Let today be about peace, presence, and purpose — not pressure.
Let today be about progress, not performance.

💬 “We trust infinite God rather than our finite selves.”
— Alcoholics Anonymous, p. 68

🌟 A Night to Remember! 🌟

Tonight was truly an amazing night at Restoring Women Outreach! 🎓✨

Two incredible ladies — Trinity and Brooke — graduated from our program! Their courage, faith, and determination to change their lives have been inspiring to witness. Watching them grow and embrace God’s plan has been such a gift. 💜

Shared from Nancy Moore, RWO Board President.

“I am so incredibly proud of both of these ladies! Their willingness to change their lives and trust God has been beautiful to see. I can’t wait to watch the next chapter of their lives unfold. A huge thank you to Kim and Judy for pouring your heart and soul into all of our ladies. Thank you to St. John’s for allowing us to hold our graduations here — I love my church! And to my dear friends who did all the food and wished to stay anonymous — thank you from the bottom of my heart. We had about 70 people here tonight! Sobriety Rocks! God is so good!” 🙏

We couldn’t be prouder of Trinity and Brooke — and of everyone who helps make nights like this possible. 💫
