💙 September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Prostate cancer remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men (excluding skin cancer) and is the second leading cause of cancer-related death among men in the United States. The American Cancer Society estimates that 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed during their lifetime, with approximately 1 in 41 men dying from the disease.

At Lifefirst Imaging and Oncology, we are committed to advancing the fight against prostate cancer through precision radiation therapy. Radiation is a proven and highly effective treatment option that can:

* Serve as a primary therapy for localized disease
* Be delivered after surgery to treat residual cancer
* Manage advanced disease to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life

Modern techniques allow us to deliver radiation with exceptional accuracy, destroying cancer cells while preserving healthy tissue. This leads to better outcomes and reduced side effects for patients.

Early detection is critical. Routine PSA testing and discussions with a healthcare provider can identify prostate cancer when it is most treatable.

This month, we stand with patients, families, and healthcare providers in raising awareness and strengthening the fight against prostate cancer. #
