Lowe’s of Cullman Gives Thanks by Giving Back: Six Years of Thanksgiving Service

For the sixth consecutive year, Zach Lee, Brian Roberts, and their dedicated team at Lowe’s of Cullman have turned the season of gratitude into a hands-on mission of community support. This Thanksgiving, the store once again opened its doors—and its pantry—to prepare and deliver hundreds of hot meals to those who need them most.

Working alongside local charities, the Lowe’s crew provided complete Thanksgiving dinners to organizations including the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post in Cullman, Restoring Women’s Outreach, the Good Samaritan Health Clinic, and the Pilot Light Home. Each meal featured traditional holiday staples, enough to feed families and individuals facing food insecurity or hardship.

The effort began in 2019 and has grown into an annual tradition involving a team at Lowe’s that’s unmatchable.

As Cullman residents gathered with their own families, the Lowe’s team reminded the community that Thanksgiving is strongest when shared. Six years in, their commitment remains clear: gratitude is a meal delivered, a smile exchanged, and a promise kept.

🌟 Looking for a meaningful way to give this Giving Tuesday? 🌟

So many of you ask us, “What can I give to help the clinic?” — and now we have a simple answer. ⭐️Our Wish Lists⭐️ are now on our website, filled with items our patients and our clinic truly need every day.

➡️Some of these items may seem small — disposable razors, deodorant, body wash, shampoo — but for some of our patients, they’re anything but ordinary. They’re unaffordable necessities. ♥️

Please imagine the situation of a possible patient, let’s call her Vicki. Vicki, a mother who works two part-time jobs and still has to choose between gas for her car or hygiene products for herself. When transportation breaks down or the budget stretches too thin with prices and rent increases, she goes without those hygiene products. That means showing up to work feeling embarrassed, avoiding social situations, and carrying stress all throughout the day.

Your kindness can change that. 💛

By purchasing even one item from our Wish List — whether it’s hygiene items, items for a cold kit, or even essentials for the clinic like garbage bags — you’re directly helping someone like Vicki walk through our doors feeling seen, supported, and cared for.
