Vecinos recently held a team training focused on strengthening communication and collaboration across our staff. We were grateful to have support from Cenzontle Language Justice Cooperative, whose interpreters helped ensure bilingual access throughout the training.

At Vecinos, we believe that creating a just and equal workplace means making space for everyone to participate in the language they are most comfortable with. By using interpreters, our team members are able to share ideas, ask questions, and fully engage in the conversation.

We want to recognize Bob for going above and beyond for the Vecinos team💙. By earning his American Heart Association Basic Life Support Trainer certification, Bob has made it possible for us to provide BLS training internally once again!

He has already led three full training sessions for staff, helping ensure our team stays prepared for emergencies and our patients remain safe. 🥰

✔️ Your household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level
✔️ You are uninsured, under-insured, or lack reasonable access to healthcare
✔️ You are 18 years or older
✔️ Vecinos will be your primary healthcare provider in the region

During her time here, she worked closely with our migrant farmworker community, serving this population for the majority of her time at Vecinos. She also contributed significantly to our individualized chronic disease program — an important part of the care we provide to our patients🧑‍🧑‍🧒✨

We LOVE getting to share stories like this!

For most of her life, the holidays were a source of stress and trauma for Elena. Rest felt impossible, and what was joyful for others was something she simply tried to get through.

After several months with our behavioral health team, everything began to change. Through consistent therapy, Elena found peace, rest, and a sense of grounding she had never experienced before.

This past Christmas, she didn’t just survive the holidays — she embraced them. She felt present, connected, and deeply supported by her family in ways that once felt out of reach.

Today, Elena is living with more peace, hope, and joy — and we’re so honored to be part of her journey. 💙
