Did you know Dr. Brear has given ophthalmological care for the Culpeper community for 40 years from 01/15/1985-01/15/2025?!?!? We want to celebrate he and his wonderful staff at Commonwealth Eye Center and Eye Deal on Thursday, Jan. 16 from 12-1 p.m.. Come in person, if you would like and congratulate Dr.Brear. We will have hot coffee and some sweets to enjoy. It has been a pleasure serving you all these years.

We would like to thank all of YOU who contributed monetarily, prayed for us daily and sent us well wishes for a successful mission trip to Guatemala! Our small , but mighty crew performed 84 surgeries ( cataracts and pterygiums) on ages ranges of 23- 90 years old. These Guatemalans have had their surgery dates since Covid and we were excited to help them to see. Some tough cases , but wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

We also got to help feed and serve over 240 Guatemalan children lunch one day at a local feeding center.
Stop in and see our pictures! If you still want to contribute to our Eye Care for Life (501c) (3) see Sara or Jennifer at the office.

We are looking to hire an ophthalmic tech. This position is full time M-Th 8-4 and Fri 8-12. No weekends/ nights.

Successful applicant will be communicative, friendly, open to learning, enjoys helping other people in stressful situations.

This position requires experience in checking Visual acuity, obtaining a history, reading glasses, OCT, photos, visual field testing. Ability to refract is a plus.
