The mission of Master’s Design Holistic Health Solutions is to empower individuals to enjoy God’s design for physical, emotional and cognitive health and well-being, using a natural, non-medicated approach. I have been on quite a journey for the last several years. I have a love for learning and am passionate about all natural approaches to wellness. I also love sharing what I have learned on my journey with others.
It all started because I had a child with undiagnosed learning difficulties. I tried many avenues to help her succeed such as reading therapy, eye therapy, and occupational therapy. Each brought about minimal academic improvement for her. Unlike the other therapies we tried, the Energy Kinesiology sessions provided her with the ability to learn. The results were life changing for her and for me, as a huge amount of stress was alleviated from our daily lives. This positive life change motivated me to become an Energy Kinesiologist. In 2015 I chose to open LearnNow so that others could also receive the life changing help that they needed.
Along the way, while working with clients, I began to see the devastating affects of chronic stress and emotional trauma. It is my ultimate desire to empower my clients to self heal, therefore I pursued additional ways to support them on their journey. I became certified as a Brain Health Coach through Amen Clinics. Founded in 1989 by Dr. Daniel G. Amen, Amen Clinics successfully provides mental wellness strategies and my certification allows me to do the same for my clients. I also found it necessary to teach my clients about the importance of emotional regulation. I therefore pursued training with HeartMath, a global organization that offers successful, proven techniques and strategies for emotional management.
I have also been trained in Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) as well. It is scientifically proven that physical movement is a powerful tool for fostering the growth and development of neural connections. After much research into this concept as well as research into primitive reflexes and their role in learning and emotional difficulties, I decided that MNRI would be a valuable addition to my practice.
My journey continued as I sought resolution for some personal health issues. I completed certification as a Functional Nutritionist and I am also trained in Nutritional Response Testing, also known as NRT. NRT is a precise system of analyzing the body in order to determine the underlying causes that prevent us from being well.
The combination of skills that I have learned and developed have equipped me to successfully help those who struggle mentally, emotionally or physically using an all natural, holistic approach. Because of my array of knowledge and skill, I realized it was time to rebrand my business, which would allow me to help a broader range of clients. The name of my business was changed to Master’s Design Holistic Health Solutions.
I would like to share what is at the heart of Master’s Design and the sunflower logo.
The human body is intricate and nothing short of amazing. Every individual is multifaceted, consisting of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects that make up the whole person. The design is absolutely awe-inspiring.
At Master’s Design, I believe that the well-being of all components is necessary for us to live the life that God intends for us, which is a life full of joy, vitality, optimism and energy. Each of these attributes provide strength and endurance. This is the Master’s design.
The vibrant, cheery sunflower symbolizes all of the above-mentioned characteristics. The flower, with its delightful disposition, yet strong supporting stem represents what I desire for each of my clients at Master’s Design Holistic Health Solutions.
At Master’s Design, I focus on the physical, mental and emotional aspects of a person but the spiritual aspect is not any less important. The Sunflower has a unique characteristic that makes it a beautiful depiction of spiritual health, and therefore has value in sharing. This beauty intentionally tilts its flower head to the sun every day, receiving the maximum amount of sunlight possible, ensuring that the plant grows properly. Without this behavior, the flower would not develop to its fullest potential. The sunflower knows that the sun is its source of life and growth. Just as this beautiful flower turns daily and stretches its bright petals in the direction of the sun, at Master’s Design, I believe that we need to faithfully look toward our Master continually because He is our ultimate source of life and strength.
The purpose and desire of Master’s Design is to empower and support individuals as they seek God’s design for well-being in all areas of their lives. I am excited and honored to share in each client’s personal journey.
