This season, I'm reflecting on how grateful I am for this work, and the wonderful clients who bring me into their births💜

Each woman and each birth has taught me something new and profound, and I cherish the experience each and every time.

I've enjoyed having this end of the year break from birth work, and I'm looking forward to being a part of so many new stories in 2025💜🥳

This is what Black Maternal Health Week is all about! Identifying and addressing exactly the issues Black Mamas are facing in labor and birth experiences. Excited to hear from about and the light they are bringing to the voices of black and brown birthing people and their experiences.

And let's be very clear, the reason for these disparities is racism, systemic, and interpersonal. This week I want to amplify the voices of Black-led initiatives and communities.
