Today was a perfect warm day for a little hike. We made it to the top with postpartum moms with babies/toddlers, a dad and my dear friend/doula ! I’m going to have an another one next month! Looking forward to see you all then!🧡

Hi everyone! The picnic and walk with Hiroko is back!!! Join me on 5th this coming Friday at walk at Baldwin hills overlook trail. Please DM by 9am on Friday if you want to join. I know it’s hard to commit when you’re pregnant or on postpartum but it helps me coordinate the day. Looking forward to seeing you all!💕

Two weeks in Finland with my husband was exactly what my soul needed. We stayed with my college friend in Tampere, surrounded by endless green, daily saunas, icy lake plunges, hikes , foraging and eating great food with great company. Thanks to him, we got a glimpse of everyday Finnish life—peaceful, simple, and so grounding.
It had been 2 years since our last big trip to Costa Rica and I realized we always end up chasing nature, hot springs, or saunas wherever we go.
While I was boarding in Frankfurt on the way home, one of my clients went into early labor. By the time I landed at LAX, contractions were 5–6 minutes apart! 😅 I rushed home, dropped my bags, and went straight to her home—just in time to witness a beautiful home birth, I couldn’t thank more to my client and the baby for waiting for me🙏🏽
Grateful for this life, the balance of self care and the intensity of being a midwife. Somehow, it always works out in the end.
夫と2週間のフィンランド旅行へ。大学時代の友人の家に滞在し、緑いっぱいの自然の中で、毎日のようにサウナと湖への冷水ダイブ、ハイキングと美味しい食べ物と友達との時間を楽しみました。おかげで、静かで穏やかなフィンランドの日常を体験することができました。
前回の大きな旅（コスタリカ)から2年。振り返ると、私たちはいつも自然と温泉やサウナを求めて旅している気がします。
そして帰り道のフランクフルトでの乗り継ぎの時にクライアントから「前駆陣痛と少量の出血があった」と連絡が。ロサンゼルスに着いた頃には、すでに陣痛が5〜6分間隔に！いそいで家に荷物をドロップして、彼女の元へ駆けつけ、無事に美しい自宅出産に立ち会うことができました💕
助産師の人生はいつも予想できないばかりですが、なんだかんだ最終的にはなるようになる。私が戻るまで待っていてくれたクライアントと赤ちゃんに本当に感謝！

We made it to the top of Baldwin Hills Overlook today🙌🏽 So proud of us! We saw a herd of goats for w**d control🐐
My 18 yr old son joined as a volunteer. He said “Moms think so much about their babies” and that’s so true🥹💕

Hi beautiful people! I’m planning to do another walking & picnic group in July. I know it’s hard to be on time when you’re pregnant or with a baby but I decided to wait only for 15 min to start walking because generally babies hates being still they need to get going! If you think you’ll be late, you can wait at the parking lot for us to be back or go ahead and wait at the grass area of Culver Park next to the playground. It was a perfect day for the walk and picnic today! We got to walk up half way to the overlook and got tons of vitamin D from the sun. Babies played on blankets and a toddler played at the playground🧡 Next one will be in July!
