We offer speech and language therapy to both children and adults in English, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, and Signed Exact English. We also offer dysphagia therapy and VitalStim therapy to adults with swallowing disorders. Here's a quick look at some of our programs:
* A-TEAM SOCIAL SKILLS LANGUAGE PROGRAM meets weekly on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30pm or Saturdays from 9:30-11:30am and from 12:30-2:30pm. The program addresses the social communication problems of children with autism spectrum disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, and other diagnoses which result in impaired social interaction. It is offered during the school year for children ages 3-17 years.
* DRAMA KINGS AND QUEENS is one of our newest innovative programs and meets on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30pm. This weekly drama program exposes children with special needs to acting and off-site theatrical experiences. The program combines speech and language with theatre arts.
* "READING WITH FRIENDS" LITERACY PROGRAM meets twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30pm. It utilizes a balanced approach to literacy training for children with special needs.
* COMMUNICATION PARTNERS PROGRAM is a 12-week workshop that meets once weekly to teach parents and caregivers how to stimulate age-appropriate speech and language development, cognition, and motor and play skills.
* SAY N' PLAY SUMMER SPEECH CAMP offers a fun, 8-week, thematically based program which essentially provides 6 hours a day of speech and language stimulation within a camp-like atmosphere. This is one of our most popular programs for children with autism and special needs 3-16 years of age.
