This is the first person to go through a new FDA- approved treatment for tinnitus called LENIRE in the state of California. There is a waiting list to receive the device. . One has to have moderate level of distress from Tinnitus to qualify. There are some other pre- qualification requirements as well. Posted with patient’s permission

I am excited for two events happening in my ever-changing knowledge of tinnitus . First I will be going to Ireland to get trained on Lenire in mid March; and secondly, I will be presenting with Dr. Shoushtarian from Australia about a new way to objectively measure tinnitus.

COMMUNITY WARNING: It is again that time of year when illegal fireworks and other noise-producing items can cause damage to auditory system. There was already a huge explosion of illegal firework in south LA with injuries. Please be careful. Keep a pair of earplugs with you if you are going out to a place with possible fireworks ( legal or illegal). 🙏
