Dr. Nikki here.... Of course the big question out there is when will the pandemic resolve. The answer is still unknown. It will probably be a combination of decreased activity of the this novel corona virus due to warmer environment and our population achieving ' herd' immunity. What is herd immunity?
Herd immunity is when greater than 60% of population achieves immunity either by individuals acquiring the disease naturally or having immunity via a vaccine. It is unknown how the novel corona virus will respond to warmer climate yet. So keep washing hands, get rest, eat well and be sure to optimize your immune system with supplements of vitamins C and D.

Past outbreaks might offer insight into whether the spread of the COVID-19 virus will continue in the spring.

Here is some information on breast exams for teenage girls. I encourage my teenage girls to get in the habit of self exams immediately after their monthly menstrual cycle completes itself.
If there are any suspicions of lumps they should be examined as soon as possible by your pediatrician. Fortunately breast cancer is rare in adolescence but more common benign conditions do need attention. I hope this article gives you an overview of proper breast exams and some reassurance about breast masses in teenage girls.
