November is National Family Caregivers Month! We wanted to shout out and give all our support to all the family member who work so hard to support their families! We here at Miller's understands what a daunting task it can be to care for your loved ones! We want you to know that our staff is always here to support you and your loved in your caregiving journey.

We wanted to give a big thank you to Hillside Acres U-pick apple farm in Rossville, IN for their generous donation of apple cider for our annual trick or treat event! The cider was amazing and we are so grateful for the support to our event!

Happy Halloween! Our annual pumpkin decorating contest is underway and this year we have had so many great resident and staff entries! From gumball machines to the classic ghosts and spiders we have them all! Our big winner will be crowned later at the Halloween party, but we wanted to highlight all the hard work of all of our residents and staff who have participated!

Last week we had Dream Day at the Culver High School. We had the pleasure of telling the different classes about our building and what we offer here at Miller's Merry Manor.

We were excited to participate in trunk or treat at fall fest last weekend! We had a blast seeing everyone and passing out candy to all the kids. Helen dressed up as Glinda the good from The Wizard of Oz/Wicked, along with her daughter and granddaughter.

We had our annual Halloween party this past Friday before the trick or treaters came and it was a blast. We listened to some spooky music, had some witches brew, showed off our costumes, and had some snacks while we waited for the trick or treaters to come!

We were beyond thrilled to once again host our annual trick or treat event here at Miller's in Culver. Our residents and staff were so excited to pass candy and have some amazing apple cider to all of the children and of course see their fantastic costumes! It was a blast and we are already excited for next year! 🎃

For 'Global Bites' and insights this month we went to the land down under, Australia! We learned about all of the amazing cities and the wonderful natural features of this country. We also had an Australia treat, fairy bread.

We are already talking about where we want to go this month! Stay tuned.

We had a blast at our monthly resident and staff birthday party! We enjoyed cake, ice cream, family, and friends! It was a great party with a fun time had by all. Featured here with her family is Rose who had a birthday in October!

Happy Halloween! Our staff dressed up to celebrate and for our annual costume contest! We are excited to show not only the residents our costumes, but also all the trick or treaters tonight. Please come see us for our trick or treat event today from 4 to 5 pm! We look forward to seeing everyone!
