Allegany County Health Department - Cumberland Maryland

Allegany County Health Department - Cumberland Maryland Healthy People, Healthy Communities The Allegany County Health Department is located in the rural mountains of Western Maryland.

In June 2006, we moved to two new buildings on Willowbrook Road in Cumberland. The Corporate Building is the bigger building located closest to the road, and houses the departments of Adminstration, Environmental Health, Mental Health System's Office (CSA), Nutrition Services, Physical Health, and the Public Health Preparedness Office. The health department shares this building with the League of Crippled Children, the Veteran's Administration, and Western Maryland Health System. Behavioral Health Services (Outpatient Mental Health, Oupatient Addictions, and Prevention), Dental Services, Boys Forestry Medical Services, and the Western Maryland Regional Laboratory share the Brook Building.

🚨Our Food Pantry Needs Your Help! 🚨

You don't have to wait to help your neighbors, you can help right now by donating any of the items we have listed!

❌Please Avoid: Expired or opened food. Oversized restaurant cans, or boxed food items needing a lot of extra ingredients to complete such as butter, milk, or cooking oil.❌

☑️Give with dignity: Donate the same kinds of foods you’d feed your own family. If you like to eat it, chances are other people do too!

📦Drop off: Monday through Friday. 10am - 4pm at 701 E 1st Street, Cumberland, MD 21502. If you need to drop off items outside of those hours, reach out and we will accommodate your schedule! 📦

Another way you can help is to host a food drive: Collect food from your church, business, neighborhood, and bring it to the pantry!
