This week, Living Hope checked off a bucket list adventure — a hot air balloon ride for four of us mamas. 🎈

There’s something sacred about rising above the ground that once held so much pain. From up there, you can’t fixate on what’s behind you. You have to look ahead or you will be paralyzed with fear. You have to trust the Lord. You have to stay present in the moment.

It felt like such a beautiful picture of what the Lord is doing in our lives — lifting our eyes from the past, steadying our hearts for the future, and teaching us to breathe in the fullness of today. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

Thank you, Browns Bridge Church through Be Rich, for making this dream come true. You didn’t just fund an experience — you gave us four mamas a glimpse of hope from a higher perspective. 💛

Today at Living Hope, we’re celebrating not one—but TWO—gender reveals! 💙💗

And guess what? We’re welcoming a **BOY and a GIRL!** in May and June.

Living Hope babies will be here before we know it, and our hearts (and nursery!) are filling up quickly. We are so grateful for the generous donors and supporters who make joyful moments like this possible for the mamas in our home. These celebrations matter. They remind our residents that their babies are cherished and that they are not walking this journey alone.

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.

Whispering Hope’s Christmas party with expectant and new moms was a big hit this year! Thank you to our supporters for your generous gifts. The moms cried upon opening them, because they were such a blessing. Our faithful volunteers led the moms in a Christmas devotion. There were sweets and treats to enjoy, and we were able to celebrate a mom who was graduating from our program. A special thank you to the Knights of Columbus for bringing Santa and his elves.

On Sunday, our Living Hope family had the joy of celebrating Mama K’s successful completion of the Living Hope program—no easy task. On January 1st, Mama K and Baby J will spread their wings and step into independent living.

What a beautiful journey it has been, and what a privilege to witness firsthand the faithfulness and goodness of God at work in their lives.

It was a celebratory feast!
