What an unforgettable celebration for Miss Ellie’s 100th Birthday! 🥳

We marked this incredible milestone with a festive Mardi Gras–themed party, at Ellie’s request, filled with fun, laughter, and lots of sparkle. Many joined in the spirit by dressing for the occasion, and our colorful masks made everyone look fantastic! Miss Ellie’s family being here made the day even more meaningful, and she truly enjoyed celebrating with her loved ones — especially the fabulous birthday cake!

It was a huge success, and a special shoutout to my assistant Sabrina, Dining Room Director Ty, and our wonderful resident Sonia for helping make this celebration so special.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our February birthdays with our monthly Resident Birthday Party! 🎉

This month, Memory Lane brought something a little different — sharing musical stories from history through a special presentation featuring vintage footage of beloved musicians, singers, and classic dance moments. As Runaround Sue played, our residents could be seen smiling, tapping their feet, and bouncing along to the fun!

It was a great afternoon full of memories, music, and celebration!

One of our wonderful residents, Carolyn Porter, selected the recipe — and together we mixed up a crowd-favorite:

We enjoyed a fun social gathering where everyone had the chance to taste (and rave about!) our finished creation.
There’s nothing better than good company, shared laughter, and something warm and homemade to bring everyone together. 💫

Our residents enjoyed a hands-on DIY Salt Hand Scrub class! We mixed simple ingredients to create a soothing scrub that leaves hands feeling soft, refreshed, and pampered. Residents had the option of lavender, lemon, or rose essential oil, and crushed lavender. It was a relaxing, sensory activity—and everyone went home with their own handmade scrub to enjoy. 💙
