Today at our BehaviorLink Cu***ng clinic, our clients had so much fun planting flowers during ABA! 🌸🌱
This hands-on activity was more than just fun—it gave our learners meaningful opportunities to practice important skills in a natural setting, including:
• following directions
• imitation and modeling actions demonstrated by therapists
• waiting and taking turns with shared materials like the shovel and scoop cup
• making choices from an array of flowers, pots, and supplies
• labeling and identifying colors, prepositions (in, on, under), and gardening items
• requesting help or preferred items
• tolerating delays and transitions
• fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• social engagement with peers and therapists
Parents loved seeing their children so proud to bring home something they made themselves. Activities like this help make learning meaningful, memorable, and fun! We love creating opportunities for our kids to build skills while making special memories. 🌼✨
