These festive Christmas crafts are more than just adorable decorations — they’re packed with learning opportunities! During ABA sessions, our clients worked on a wide range of important skills while creating these holiday masterpieces, including:

🖐️ Fine motor skills (painting, gluing, tearing paper, placing stickers)
👀 Visual motor & visual scanning (matching colors, following models, locating materials)
🧠 Following directions & task completion (multi-step instructions, staying engaged)
🎯 Attention & sitting tolerance during structured activities
🎨 Choice-making & creativity (selecting colors, designs, and materials)
🤝 Social skills such as turn-taking, requesting help, and sharing materials
🗣️ Communication skills by labeling colors, shapes, and holiday items

We love turning seasonal fun into meaningful learning moments. Watching our clients build confidence, independence, and skills — all while celebrating the holidays — is what makes this time of year extra special 💚❤️

🎅🏻 ✨ Santa Claus came to town! ✨🎅🏻

Yesterday was full of holiday magic as Santa stopped by our Ellijay clinic to spend time with our amazing kids! 🎄❤️

Our team created a warm, welcoming environment and it was so special watching each child interact with Santa in the way that felt best for them — from big smiles and photos to simple waves and high-fives.

🐾 Exciting day at the Dawsonville clinic! 🐾
We had some very special visitors today—therapy dogs, Cassie and Leon, came to spend time with our kiddos, and it was pure joy from start to finish! 💛

Therapy dogs bring so many benefits to our ABA sessions: they help kids feel calm and comfortable, encourage communication, and make learning fun and natural. Our kiddos practiced greetings, requesting, turn-taking, and gentle hands—all while getting lots of tail wags and snuggles. 🐶✨

Seeing the smiles, increased engagement, and confidence our kids showed today was incredible. We love offering meaningful, positive experiences that support growth, regulation, and connection.

Thank you to our furry friends at Mission Syrah Paws, Inc. for brightening the clinic today! 🐾💙

Earlier this month Milton High School’s Craft for Impact came to visit our Dawsonville clinic. They brought a fall craft that was perfect for all our kiddos and their varying skill levels. Seeing the effort these students made to teach and connect with our kids was wonderful. We are so grateful that they chose to donate their time to us! 🍁❤️
