Talk about 👏 Thank you to incredible organizations who joined AboutFace-USA’s inaugural Veteran Services Coalition meeting in Cu***ng, Georgia! 🌟 Representatives from Vietnam Veterans VVA #1030, Johns Creek Veterans Association, American Legion, FOCO Veterans, the Colonel’s Cup Foundation, University of North Georgia, Sons of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Revolution, Children of the American Revolution, Knights of Columbus, and St. Brendan’s Catholic Church came together to collaborate on improving resources, healthcare, and overall support for veterans and their families across North Georgia. 🇺🇸

It’s truly inspiring to see so many dedicated individuals and organizations willing to share their time and expertise to make a difference! 🫡 Together, this coalition will strengthen our community, build partnerships, and create a coordinated network to ensure every veteran has access to the support they deserve. We look forward to our next meeting with you all! 💜

Healing the Hidden 💜 We had the privilege of learning from Licensed Professional Counselor, Ed Clark, during our February 19th event. It was a powerful and meaningful conversation where we explored what trauma is, how it impacts our lives, and practical steps we can take toward healing. 🧠

We are so happy to have seen so many individuals stop by and learn about this important subject and truly recommend Ed’s work. He’s very knowledgeable and cares deeply about our veterans. If you are looking for professional support, Ed Clark is located in Alpharetta! ✨ Healing isn’t always visible, but it is possible. 💜🇺🇸

We are still in need of 3-4 volunteers to assist with a one-day home repair project for a veteran in Forsyth County! 🔨Home Depot has provided a grant to cover the materials and will also have a crew onsite to lead the work. We just need helping hands! If you have a drill, you may bring it, but not everyone needs one.

TIME: 9AM - 2PM (you don't have to be there the entire time.
LOCATION: Provided upon confirmation
