It’s about how nature helped me through one of the scariest times in my life. Chasing 1000 Miles—No Matter What
I love having my 1,000-mile-a-year goal because it keeps me moving—no matter the weather, daylight, or how tight my body feels at first.
I’ve learned to lean into warm-ups that honor my fascia and nervous system, and trust that my body finds its rhythm once I’m out on the trail.
Last month I caught up with over 102 miles, each step helps me gain insights and grounded clarity.
Don’t forget to set your clock back one hour for daylight savings—then get out and chase your own goals. Only 60 days left for 2025!

I’m deeply inspired by Natalie Grabow’s heroic finish at the Kona Ironman. At 80 years old, she saw the finish line, stumbled, and fell — in a way that would have stopped most people in their tracks. But not Natalie. She crawled forward, got back up, and ran across the finish line to the cheers of her supporters. 💛

Her determination and strength are a proof that our bodies and brains can keep adapting, repairing, and thriving at any age. She’s living evidence of neuroplasticity and resilience in motion.

Falling didn’t define her — getting back up and breaking the world record did!

This moment will stay with me forever: a powerful reminder that aging well isn’t about staying unshaken, but about staying in motion, rebuilding strength, balance, and courage every time we rise.

Trauma doesn’t just live in your mind — it shows up in your fascia.

That web of connective tissue wraps around every muscle, nerve, and organ. When the nervous system experiences trauma, fascia tightens, thickens, and holds the memory of protection. Over time, those protective patterns can turn into chronic tension, pain, or a feeling of being “stuck” in your own body.

As you move, stretch, breathe, or tremor, you’re not just releasing muscle tension — you’re helping your fascia let go of old survival responses and re-teaching your body what safety feels like again.

Be Your Best Self in 2019!

My mission is to use psychotherapy, coaching, and a healthy lifestyle to create better thoughts, behaviors, relationships and moods. After doing a complete intake, clients gain insight, understanding, and tools and help people be their Best Self Today.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides therapy while walking and talking on nature trails. Clients who are unable to meet in person can do a phone session instead. Walking Psychotherapy lifts your mood so that you feel better about yourself and your life, and helps you get unstuck and change self-sabotaging behaviors. You will be listened to with compassion, gain insight and tools, and move through your concerns with support. You will do home practice of the behaviors, thoughts, and skills that we are focusing on to streamline your results. You will be less overwhelmed, more on target, and live your best life. I am also a wellness and ADD coach. You will create specific, measurable goals for yourself in the area that you would like to improve while walking on a peaceful nature trail. You will be asked pin-pointed questions to help you gain clarity about what you want to accomplish. We will create specific plans to meet your goals, and we will track your progress daily.
