Happy spring. Many of our students have asked us about the best suggestions for healthy and beautify body and happy mind. I will start posting short notes from their class notes here. If you have specific questions, we will try to find a time to address them someday.

To look slim, beautiful, youthful. And feeling good and healthy inside. Start with sleeping early. Don’t sleep latter than 11pm. Do not sleep too much.

Next goal, do exercise as it fits you. Do not hurt more than gain from the exercise. Learn from good teacher. You should try a few and follow the good ones. Change teacher when you need to fit your own change in needs.

Exercise is different from practice. A practice is a long process of doing something that improves your mind and body overtime. Like Taiji yoga and qigong, and watch you put into into your mouth and say out of your month

Taiji or AKA Tai Chi, is practiced in many places like Shaolin, Wudang, etc. It has many variations or lineages. We recommend trying standardized Yang style Taiji as an entry into this world of healthy mind body exercise.

Happy Summer. Hope everyone is well and practicing regularly.
The City of Cupertino has not opened the Quinlan Community for classes on Saturday. This may be permanent.

We like the Quinblan classrooms there because they offer clean, sunny facilities. Positive energy, prana, or fengshui is a part of the benefits for students who drive long distances to join us. Dear fellow students,

We do not have classes in the summer and fall 2022.

Most commercial gyms are still not fully open for indoor classes. Kindly wait for a little during the travel and party months this summer . Please check our website for updates.

Seat or lie down comfortably. Relax your body. Take three long deep cleansing breaths. Longer on each exhale. Close your eyes. And keep focusing on the flow of the melody and sound again. When the song stop, stay still and remain comfortably seated for a few minutes in silence. Slowly open your eyes.

Observe how you feel inside. Is there any difference from the experience of the previous sitting?

Hello everyone:

Through your intimate experience of living with the COVID-19 on our planet, it is likely that, by now you have developed a different insight on the meaning of being happy. Your understanding of the value of health must have also changed.

Our Story

Taiji, Qigong, Meditation, and Yoga Classes

We help you quickly learn and master a set of simple and effective routines tailored to your fitness level and health need. You can continue your regular practice on your own or join other students regularly in a group exercise.

Currently Qigong and Taiji classes are offered to the public on Saturday morning at Quinlan Community Center in Cupertino, CA. Next to De Anza College off highway 85. www.fitness299.com
