Premier Family Eyecare is looking for a full-time optometric technician. The position is a Monday-Friday schedule, no nights or weekends. Experience is a plus, but willing to train! Main duties include: conducting patient workups and preliminary exams, taking accurate medical histories and measurements, performing diagnostic imaging, assisting optometrist during procedures, educating patients on medications, treatments, and follow-ups, and maintaining exam rooms and equipment. The candidate should have strong computer skills; should have strong interpersonal and communication skills; and should be dependable, professional, and willing to learn. The position would start at $16-18/hr or depending on experience. We offer paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacations, quarterly profit sharing, and a 401K program.
