While we proudly offer 24/7 emergency services and host a visiting OB/GYN physician once a month in Shelby and Cut Bank, our facilities are not equipped for planned labor and delivery.

If you’re expecting, we encourage you to plan ahead and establish care with a provider who offers prenatal care and will work closely with you to coordinate delivery care with a facility that provides full labor and delivery services. This helps ensure the safest experience for both mom and baby.

If an unexpected situation arises, please know our ER is always here for you.

This week, students from Cut Bank High School visited Logan Health - Cut Bank for R.E.A.C.H. Camp with North Central Montana AHEC, a program standing for Research and Explore Awesome Careers in Healthcare. Spring is here, and so are ticks. As you head outside, stay tick aware!

Prevent bites by wearing sleeves, pants and socks, using repellent and avoiding tall grass. After going outside, always check your neck, under arms, waist, knees and thighs. If you find a tick on you, remove it with tweezers, clean the area, and watch for symptoms of Lyme disease.

Getting outside is one of the best parts of spring, so remember to take these few extra precautions to enjoy the season safely.

The Sunshine Award is given to an outstanding clinical employee at Logan Health – Cut Bank each year. The recipient is nominated based on how they enrich a positive atmosphere throughout the Logan Health community, demonstrating consistent performance above and beyond their daily workload, and always putting the patient first. This month, we presented the Sunshine Award to Yen Echavez, CNA!

Her nomination said, "Yen is an extraordinary staff member who consistently goes above and beyond her duties. Yen is compassionate in everything she does, and it truly shows in the way she cares for our patients. She takes initiative, works efficiently, and responds quickly and effectively when situations arise in the ER. Her ability to stay calm, focused, and supportive makes a significant difference for both patients and staff. I truly adore Yen as a coworker and can always rely on her. She is an invaluable member of our team, and her hard work, compassion, and dedication make her highly deserving of the Sunshine Award."

After more than a year of living with severe back pain and uncertainty, LeAnne visited multiple providers without ever receiving clear answers. In January, she met with Dr. Clay at Logan Health Rural Health Clinic – Cut Bank, and everything changed. Dr. Clay took the time to review her imaging results, explain what was really going on, and created a treatment plan that finally offered relief with the right diagnosis, DDD in the back and a slipped disc in the neck, and the right medication.

“I’m actually feeling hope again that I can do things without nothing but pain. When you are in that kind of pain, it's depressing to continue with life, and I feel almost normal again. Thanks Logan Health and Dr. Clay for an outstanding job. The entire staff is amazing, and I’ve never been so pleased.” - LeAnne
