At the beginning of every year, I identify a word that represents something that I want more of in the New Year. All you have to do is get quiet for a few minutes, and typically the word comes, kind of out of nowhere. It could be something you want to see more of in your life, a goal, a behavior, a mindset, whatever.

My Word of the Year for 2025 is PEACE.

PEACE.
It’s a feeling that radiates from an inner knowing that all is going to be ok. I want more of that.
It’s a choice that I can make even when things don’t work out the way I expected. I want more of that.
It’s a way of being that draws people to me rather than pushes them away. I want more of that.
It’s a fruit of the spirit that grows through time spent in prayer with God. I want more of that.
