AS WE CONTINUE TO GROW, we are currently looking for a Targeted Case Managers! We have opening in our Wi******er office!

Qualifications and Responsibilities of Case Managers:
1. Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or 2. Be a CADC as defined by KRS 309.080(2); (b) Successfully complete a department-approved case management training within six (6) months of employment as a case manager; and (c) Successfully complete ten (10) hours of continuing education in alcohol and other drug relevant training annually. (2) Case management services shall be based on the: (a) Goals established in the client’s clinical assessment; and (b) Development of an individualized person-centered treatment plan that identifies the case management activities that support implementation of the plan.

DUE TO KY MEDICAID REGULATIONS YOU MUST HAVE A BACHELORS DEGREE AS LISTED ABOVE.

This position can be full-time, or could be part time! This is a Monday through Thursday position. We do offer benefits after 90 days of full-time employment

Drug Overdose Alert: Scott County.

Between March 8th and 13th, 6 suspected nonfatal drug overdose Emergency Medical Services (EMS) encounters were reported in Scott County through Overdose Detection Mapping Application System (ODMAP), which represents an unusually high number of suspected nonfatal drug overdose encounters in this period. As a result, people who use drugs in or around this area should take caution to protect themselves.

What you can do:
-Always keep naloxone on hand and administer it if you suspect an overdose. Fentanyl has been found in all types of unregulated drugs, so naloxone may help regardless of drug taken.

-Visit your Local Health Department to obtain naloxone and other drug overdose prevention supplies.

-Promote naloxone distribution sites and/or by mail for those without local access: https://findnaloxonenowky.org

-Call 1-800-696-1996 to connect with overdose protection, detection, life-saving crisis response and medical intervention services for people who use drugs.

-If you or someone you know needs help with Substance Use Disorder, visit https://findhelpnowky.org/ky to search for available treatment and recovery options (or call 1-833-859-4357 during business hours, or 1-800-854-6813 after business hours).

-Check in on friends, family members neighbors, and others to share this information.

-Call 911 if you suspect an overdose.

🚨 Public Safety Advisory: Cychlorphine Detected in Kentucky 🚨

The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security warns that Cychlorphine, a highly potent synthetic drug approximately ten times stronger than fentanyl, has been detected in central Kentucky and is contributing to overdose deaths in neighboring regions, including eastern Tennessee.

This substance is frequently mixed with other illegal narcotics, placing users at extreme risk of unintentional exposure. Its presence is expected to expand to additional areas within the Commonwealth.

Advisory for First Responders, Healthcare Providers, and Law Enforcement Personnel:

* Exercise extreme caution when handling any unknown or illicit substances.

* Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidental exposure.

* Treat all suspected Cychlorphine-related overdoses as medical emergencies.

* Immediately report any confirmed or suspected cases to local public safety authorities.

The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security urges the public to remain vigilant, avoid contact with unknown substances, and report suspicious activity to law enforcement.

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Clinical Social Worker or Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver individualized, ethical, and evidence-based care while working alongside a supportive and dedicated team.
What You’ll Do
• Provide direct clinical services to patients in line with ethical and professional standards
• Deliver individualized treatment plans for patients in recovery
• Collaborate with team members while also working independently
• Bring energy, innovation, and problem-solving skills to support patients and the team

What We’re Looking For
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Active Kentucky Licensure REQUIRED (examples: LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LCADC, CSW, LPCA, or MFTA)
• At least 1 year of experience in substance abuse counseling (preferred)
• Adaptability to new policies, workflows, and patient needs
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
