Who doesn’t dream of eating a giant Banana Split? Myrtle said she wanted to eat a giant banana split at an old fashion ice cream shop and share it with a good friend. Within the month of March we have Read Across America Day as well as Once Upon A Time Day. Cedar Ridge and Eastside Elementary students decided to get together to celebrate both. This wonderful group of 5th graders came to read and share their favorite stories with us. We had a wonderful afternoon and even had some storybook characters to visit us too.

Trilogy Health Services truly believes in investing in their leaders to help make us the best Healthcare facilities in the mid west. Cedar Ridge Life Enrichment Director Crystal, Director of Food Services Jessica and Director of Sales Trey enjoyed a two day “Momentum” conference in Columbus more than 500 peers from Trilogy. Learning sessions taught by support staff and peer panels discussing barriers and how to forge on all while elevating everything we do to make our residents lives the best they can be. Part of momentum is lifting others up, Trilogy does that !

Our friend Buddy will do just about anything for some Kentucky Fried Chicken. So our local KFC welcomed Buddy as part of their team for the day. He had a blast serving and taking orders. The best part of the day was his lunch, when he got to eat his favorite KFC meal. When Buddy came back to CedarRidge he brought his Legacy Way friends a big bucket of chicken and box of biscuits to share. He took this job so seriously that he went through the halls handing out coupons to all the staff. Buddy loved his experience and wants to thank Michael the KFC manager and his sweet friend and CNA Desta for such a great day!
