This month, the Harrison County EMS is honored to be recognized for the work happening at Harrison County EMS β€” where our team’s commitment to innovation, training, and patient-focused service continues to shape the future of prehospital care.

Our close partnership with Harrison Memorial Hospital strengthens everything we do. Together, we are advancing education, enhancing quality initiatives, and expanding community health support beyond emergency response.

Achieving Level III Training & Education Institution (TEI) status marks a significant milestone for our department and reinforces our dedication to developing the next generation of EMS professionals. In addition, collaborative efforts such as our Care-A-Van program and the development of our Community Paramedicine initiative reflect our mission to support residents.

We are proud of the progress our team β€” and our community β€” is making. As we continue to grow, innovate, and serve, we hope our work inspires other services across Kentucky to pursue new pathways for community care and collaboration.

Together, we’re building a healthier future for the people we proudly serve.
