Heartstone Wellness offers a variety of Yoga, Pilates, Functional Fitness, MELT, pelvic floor education pre/postnatal, spinal flow in small group and private setting. At Heartstone Wellness, we believe that physical and mental wellness go hand in hand. That's why we offer group mat pilates, group MELT classes, and group yoga classes in Cypress, TX. The founder has years of experience teaching these classes and is passionate about creating a safe and supportive community for our clients. In addition to group classes, we also offer private pilates sessions, private MELT classes, and private yoga classes. "How to laugh and not p*e at the same time" was the first suggestion to name this workshop....its a real thing for many of us!!!

We amended to Mind your Pelvic Floor, because that's what it is really about.

In this 3 hour intro we talk about:
symptoms of a not so sufficiently working pelvic floor
what you can do yourself to release deep pains in hips, pelvis and back,
what to focus on to help recovery from pregnancy,
we talk hormones, prolaps, pain during s*x and all the things pelvic floor related....

but most importantly: how to feel strong and in control of your bladder again!!

The importance of handling chronic stress and its effect on the nervous system….

🧠⚡Stress, Insulin Resistance & Spinal Flow 🌊

Insulin resistance is not just about food

Not about lack of willpower.
Not about “doing it wrong”

In many cases, it is the result of living too long in survival mode.
When the body is under chronic stress — emotional, mental, or physical — it activates its defence system:

⚡ Sympathetic nervous system
⚡ Elevated cortisol
⚡ Increased blood glucose
⚡ Constantly elevated insulin

The body is not trying to sabotage you.
The body is saying:

“It’s not safe to let go.”

And while it doesn’t feel safe:
• Fat is not released

🔁 The missing link: the nervous system

Before a metabolic issue appears, there is often a nervous system regulation issue.

And insulin sensitivity only improves in a state of safety.
