This is what it looks like when young people show up for their community. 💚

Cypress Woods High School student Jordan Whittington hosts an annual co****le tournament called Jordan's Bags For Bikes, and this year he went above and beyond. He rallied his community to collect over 100 bikes, and 86 of them were donated to Cy-Hope to be given to kids who could use a little extra joy this Christmas!

Huge shoutout to Jordan for making the holidays brighter and reminding us that you’re never too young to make a difference!

Meet Rayna whose journey took shape in high school when donors stepped in to cover the cost of her AP exams and other academic opportunities. Because someone believed in her potential, something sparked.

College wasn’t always a guaranteed path, but that early generosity helped Rayna push through obstacles and stay focused on breaking the cycle.

Today, she’s a second-year student at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a certification in nonprofit entrepreneurship. Her dream is to use technology to uplift and empower lower-income families.

Because donors chose to invest in her future, Rayna is now preparing to invest in others. That’s what happens when hope comes full circle.

Thank you Copperfield Dolphins Swim Team for organizing a food drive on behalf of Cy-Hope! We're so overwhelmed with gratitude for all the organizations, big and small, that have stepped up this holiday season to make sure their neighbors have food on the table!

Frost & Fire 2024 was pure magic! ❄️🔥 This year, instead of hosting separate celebrations at each Hope Center, we brought all of our after-school families together for one BIG Christmas event on our Cy-Hope campus — and it was incredible!

A huge thank you to the AMAZING community partners who made this night so special for our kids:

• SelfCAD donated hot cocoa, cider, and lemonade.
• The Hope Chest Resale Market benefiting Cy-Hope hosted games and provided raffle prizes.
• Barkley's Bookshelf gave out free books to kids.
• Ezee Fiber brought games and STEM activities.
• Lightbridge Academy Cypress hosted games and prizes.
• Little Kitchen HTX provided pizza and pasta.
• Creekwood Grill provided delicious pastas.
• H-Town Muscle rallied their gym community to shop for more than 200 kids and helped pass out gifts.
• Energy Capital Credit Union gave out goodie bags, hosted games, and brought the Grinch.
• Corner Revival Community Church "Tha Corner" donated gift cards for raffle prizes.
• Starbucks at The Winward at Telge Crossing donated festive cups and merchandise for prizes.

Last night, we got to visit with CLA Foundation who generously awarded Cy-Hope with a $10,000 grant for our 'Providing Opportunities Program' (POP). 🎓💚

Through POP, Cy-Hope helps cover fees for underserved students taking college credit courses in middle and high school, as well as those pursuing vocational certifications through Career & Technology Education (CTE) classes.

These opportunities make a life-changing difference, opening doors to graduation, certifications, and brighter futures!

Royce’s musical journey began in 5th grade at Willbern Elementary School through one of Cy-Hope’s outreach programs made possible by generous supporters. He picked up a guitar for the first time, and something sparked.

Private lessons weren’t financially possible for his family, but donors helped fill that gap. Because someone chose to give, Cy-Hope was able to provide weekly instruction and a donated guitar, strengthening his confidence, skill, and passion over the last three years.

Now a 7th grader at Campbell Middle School, Royce looks forward to playing each week. Inspired by what he’s learned, he now hopes to play praise and worship music and give back by becoming more involved in his church community.

What began as a single opportunity has grown into joy, purpose, and belonging, creating an impact that moves from child, to family, to community.

Yesterday, our team visited , where they generously presented Cy-Hope with a $10,000 check to support our future Cy-Hope Youth Sports Complex — the future home of our Dierker’s Champs baseball fields. ⚾💚

Houston Astros legend Larry Dierker joined us for the celebration, signing their autograph wall and spotting one of his own baseball cards on display.

Thank you, DICK’S, for believing in the power of youth sports and helping us create a space where every child has the chance to play, grow, and belong!
