Discrimination has no place in our cities, our workplaces, or our communities.
Today , I heard language from a police officer that was deeply discriminatory and painful. Moments like that are a reminder that we still have work to do. No matter our skin color, background, or title, we are all human beings deserving of dignity and respect.
At the end of the day, we are all equal. We all feel pain. We all need compassion. And inside, we all bleed red.
That is why representation, service, and care matter so much. When I think about people performing CPR, I do not see race first. I see human lives worth saving. I see the responsibility to help one another. I see the kind of world we should all be building.
We cannot say we value life while tolerating hatred, prejudice, or discriminatory language. Real leadership means standing for fairness, respect, and equal treatment for every person.
Let’s keep choosing humanity over hate.
