Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We just want to remind everyone that we will be closed Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th in observance of Thanksgiving. We will be open as normal on Monday, November 28th. We are so thankful for all of our clients for making this year so great! We wouldn't be here without the constant support that so many of you have shown us over the years.

If you have an emergency while we are closed for the holiday, please refer to UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital at 706-542-3221 or Animal Emergency Care of Braselton at 470-209-7222.

To our valued clients:
After thirty-five years we are closing our doors, while actively trying to find a suitable Dr.
Due to health reasons - DR. MONTGOMERY must take an early retirement!!
This is due to an autoimmune condition and repeated septicemia. His doctor's report is that it is too dangerous for him to continue to practice veterinary medicine, due to bites and scratches.
I will be happy to help you relocate if you so desire. Also, we have the phones available for you to leave a message for records and refill requests. Please leave a detailed message with your name, animal's name, cell number, and email address. These will be checked and sent weekly.

We have enjoyed serving you more than you could imagine. You have been my (our) life for
over thirty-five years. It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to the life that I have known since
I was in my twenties when I opened DACULA ANIMAL HOSPITAL. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. Please know this is not the avenue I would have chosen. I am
looking forward to the next chapter in my life of enjoying and serving my family for a change.
If you care to follow me, I will be writing some humorous, but nonfiction books. The first one will have the title, "Gee Doc While You're Here".
Thank you again for allowing me to be “your other family doctor”, and for trusting me with your most valued and joyous possessions all these years! You will be greatly missed!
