We offer hands-on classes for ages 2 years–8 years, all attended with a caregiver! Come learn, play, and grow with us! Mary's Episcopal Church

Join us for Toddler Time, STEM fun, homeschool enrichment, and special holiday classes that make learning playful and meaningful. The Growing Patch was created to fill a need in our area for a quality learning center for young children. We know now, more than ever, the importance of having a safe place where children can come to learn, have fun, and interact with one another. Our hope is that you

will find The Growing Patch to be a welcoming community for your child to learn and grow. Our current classes, class descriptions, and class pricing is posted on our website thegrowingpatchdadecity.com

All students MUST be accompanied by an adult. Class size limit is: 8 registered students per session (limit 1 adult per student/family)

Spring is the perfect time to explore how living things grow and change!
In this hands-on Explorers class, children will dive into the fascinating world of insects and butterfly metamorphosis through interactive STEM activities, creative art, and movement-based learning.

During class, Explorers will:
🔎 Classify insects (and discover what doesn’t count!)
🦋 Learn the 4 stages of the butterfly life cycle
🎨 Create a symmetry butterfly art piece
🛠 Build a safe “home” for a caterpillar in a mini engineering challenge
🔄 Assemble a take-home life cycle wheel
