A fun filled day was had by all last Friday at Adrian Elementary School as Adrian First Responders served lunch to students! Police, Firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics were all on hand, and the students loved it. What a great way to celebrate before winter break -- many thanks to those who volunteered their time!

Jeanette Walker is a fun-loving member of our team at Siouxland Christian School. As Kitchen Manager, she keeps things running smoothly. We are proud to feature her as our Friday Face this week!

Jeanette loves to cook and bake, and she is always bringing in something for our team to enjoy. She is also a lover of animals -- she has chickens named Chicken Nugget and Cordon Blue.

"Jeanette is a wonderful asset to have in this kitchen," said Food Service Director Kassi Schwier. "We have a lot of laughs each and every day and that helps our other team members see that we enjoy work. Each day brings new challenges and she meets them head on with a smile on her face." Our team at Columbus Public Schools District Emerson Elementary played a part in the Small Towns Matter bike helmet giveaway by making in-classroom pizza parties possible as part of the celebration! Great job, team!

Students at a Columbus elementary school are going home with a brand new accessory this weekend.

Bettie Hartman is incredible. She has been dedicated to her work at Chamberlain Elementary Cubs for 24 years now, and she is a joy to have on the team. We are proud to feature her as our Friday Face this week!

Bettie enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Bella. Her hobbies include reading books, cooking, and country music.

"Bettie shows up every day with a smile on," said Food Service Director Christena Hoffer. "She has only missed one day of work in the last 5 years and that was because of state wrestling last year. Betts is a team player who does not leave her team!" Thanks for living our values each day, Bettie -- you are so appreciated!

We love the helpful feedback we receive from our student Food Service Committees!

Members of our Food Service Committee met today with our provider, Lunchtime Solutions. Students were able to share what they’re enjoying (and not enjoying) so we can keep serving menu items our kids truly want.

They will meet again this spring!

One clear message? Locally raised beef is a favorite!

Jacinda Mues became a vital part of our team at Broken Bow Public Schools when she joined as Kitchen Manager more than 2 years ago, and for that we are thankful. We are proud to feature her as our Friday Face this Thanksgiving week!

Jacinda loves spending time with her family. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite holiday is Christmas (which is coming up very fast!).
