We are incredibly thankful to XIT Communications for their extraordinary $300,000 commitment to the Dallam Hartley Counties Healthcare Foundation in support of our More Than a Home capital campaign to build a new Nursing Home for Dalhart.

This generous pledge will have a lasting impact on our community and helps move this critical project forward—one our seniors, families, and future generations so deeply need. Having this level of support from a trusted local partner like XIT Communications means more than words can express.

As Kathy Duggan of XIT Communications shared:

“XIT Communications is a proud supporter of all the communities we serve. With the $10 million pledge from Louise and Gene Rahll to build a new nursing home in Dalhart, and with their challenge to area residents to raise an additional $5 million, XIT Communications was anxious to become a part of this wonderful project… We, too, realize the importance of strengthening the long-term sustainability of our rural hospital.”

XIT Communications’ Board of Directors approved a $300,000 pledge, with $100,000 contributed annually over the next three years beginning January 2026—a powerful commitment to rural healthcare and to Dalhart’s future.
