Spent some time with Calie Carmichael and I’m really glad I did. There’s a lot of intention behind what she’s doing with Chapter House.
We’re excited to support them through Stillpoint.

When addiction reaches a breaking point, families often try to step in themselves. But without guidance, these conversations can quickly go sideways. Our latest blog explores why DIY interventions often struggle.

When someone you love is struggling with addiction, the instinct to act is powerful. Families often feel they can’t wait any longer and decide to gather everyone together for a serious conversation. In many cases, this becomes what’s known as a DIY intervention—a well-intentioned attempt to en...

We want to take a moment to thank the many professionals who have already trusted Stillpoint Interventions with the families they serve.

We have both been guiding interventions for many years, but starting a new business always comes with some uncertainty. Even with experience, taking that leap can feel risky.

The response since launching Stillpoint has been incredibly encouraging, and we’ve already received a number of referrals from clinicians, treatment providers, and colleagues we respect deeply.

That trust means a great deal to us.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the families you send our way and honored to work alongside so many dedicated professionals.

One of the greatest privileges of this work is getting to see people again after treatment.

I had the honor of serving as his interventionist, and moments like this remind me why families take that incredibly hard first step. Interventions aren’t just about a single day — they’re about opening the door to a different future.

Reconnecting later and seeing someone grounded, present, and back in their life is something I never take for granted.

Recovery is possible. And it’s always worth the fight.

Families watching someone they love struggle with addiction often feel caught in relentless currents.

Conversations spiral.
Emotions intensify.
Every decision starts to feel reactive.

A stillpoint is the moment when movement pauses long enough for clarity to return.

Where fear quiets just enough for a different path to become visible.

That moment is where real change begins.

When a loved one is struggling with addiction, families often ask the same question: How much does an intervention cost?

It’s an understandable question—but the real conversation is about value, timing, and what’s truly at stake.

In our latest blog, we break down the typical cost of a professional intervention, what families actually receive for that investment, and the often-overlooked cost of waiting too long to act.

Because the truth is, an intervention isn’t just a single event. It’s a carefully guided process designed to give families clarity, support, and the best possible chance for lasting change.

When a loved one is struggling with addiction, families often reach a breaking point where something has to change. That’s usually when the question finally comes up:“How much does an intervention cost?”It’s a practical question. An understandable one. It’s also only part of the picture.Be...

Today is Black Balloon Day — a day to remember the lives lost to overdose and to stand with the families who continue to carry that loss.

Every life lost to addiction mattered deeply to the people who loved them. Someone who should still be here.

At Stillpoint Interventions, we hold space for the grief, the complexity, and the love that surrounds substance use disorder. We also hold onto the belief that families deserve support, education, and guidance before tragedy becomes the outcome.

Today we remember.
Today we honor.
Today we continue the work of helping families find a path forward.

Meet the Interventionists Behind Stillpoint

Stillpoint Interventions was founded by Adam Tripp and Jenny Edelman with a shared belief: an intervention is not a single event. It is the first courageous step in a longer healing process for the entire family.

Adam is known for his calm, grounded demeanor. In moments when emotions are high and families feel overwhelmed, he brings steadiness to the room. His presence lowers the temperature. He listens carefully, speaks thoughtfully, and has a unique ability to see beyond the immediate crisis to the deeper patterns driving it. With more than a decade of experience navigating complex family systems and engaging individuals who feel resistant or guarded, Adam helps families move from chaos toward clarity and structure.

Jenny brings a magnetic personality and a powerful, heart-centered presence to the work. Families often feel her warmth immediately. She has a natural ability to connect, disarm defensiveness, and build trust quickly. With more than a decade of professional intervention experience, Jenny also brings extensive experience navigating court-involved cases, legal pressures, and high-stakes family situations. She understands how to move confidently through complex legal dynamics while keeping families emotionally supported and informed every step of the way.

Together, Adam and Jenny lead interventions collaboratively rather than confrontationally. They believe dignity must be protected, not stripped away. Their approach focuses on lowering defenses, building authentic trust, and ensuring every person involved feels respected and emotionally safe throughout the transition into care.

Their work is also deeply personal. Adam has been in long-term recovery since 2013. Jenny began her recovery journey in 2009. That lived experience shapes how they show up. With humility. With credibility. With a grounded understanding of what real change truly requires.

At Stillpoint, intervention inherently includes ongoing family support. Before. During. After. For as long as it is needed. Families are never handed off once treatment begins. Adam and Jenny remain present, guiding each step with steadiness, clarity, and genuine care.

When families call Stillpoint, they are not hiring someone to facilitate a single conversation. They are stepping into a partnership with two professionals deeply committed to protecting dignity, restoring connection, and helping families move from crisis into lasting stability.
