A small artilcle about what we did in DC!

On October 28th, nearly 150 American Heart Association Heart Powered advocates from 47 states converged on Capitol Hill, asking elected representatives to fund the bipartisan HEARTS Act to ensure America’s schools are equipped to respond to a cardiac emergency.

From the local level- Dallas, TX ➡️ to the State Capitol- Austin, TX ➡️ to Federal - Washington D.C. we Advocate from the bottom to the very top for Sudden Cardiac Arrest, CPR / AED Awareness, to the HEARTS Act for secondary schools and student athletes 🩵❤️

Please help and do your part by texting ‘AED’ to 46839 to help prevent heart issues with research, pre screening, proper training and CERPs policies but most of all to FUND the Hearts Act. Together, we can save lives from Sudden Cardiac Arrest! 🙏🏼💪🏼🫀

Hope Health Ellis County has a full Cardiac Emergency Response Plan by us 🩵💚🙏🏼⚡️
1. We inspected their devices and updated their new facility with three NEW ZOLL AED 3 devices
2. Updated their nurses in BLS with exact AED model training
3. Installed new AED cabinets and devices
4. Certified the remaining staff in CPR
5. CPR / AED device management continued
