Parkland Community Health Plan (PCHP) was started in 1999 by Parkland Health. We are proud to be locally owned and locally operated. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

We offer STAR Medicaid and CHIP services for children, teens, pregnant women, and families. Parkland Community Health Plan is a community-based health insurance plan offering health care coverage to the communities of North Texas. Our insurance products include STAR Medicaid, CHIP and CHIP Perinatal. Our service area covers Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall counties, where members can seek care at more than 6,000 doctors and specialists and over 40 hospitals and urgent care centers. Member Services hours are 8 a.m. If this is an emergency, dial 9-1-1. Remember, never publicly post your personal contact or health information you'd like to keep private on Facebook. Snow and ice events can make driving and walking dangerous. They can also cause power outages, slow-moving traffic, and longer drive times.

Prepare now:
- Keep your car in working order.
- Check the battery and tires. Fill up with gas before snow or ice comes.
- Keep a blanket, water, and flashlight in your car.
- Have a cell phone car charger in your car.

If you have medical devices that need power to work, call your electric company. Let them know and ask if they can help.

We are affordable healthcare for Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall counties.

Millions of Texans have received healthcare benefits through our plan and services; we’ve proudly served our community of members since 1999. Members can seek care where they live with nearly 3,000 area healthcare providers, including more than 25 hospitals and medical centers. The hospitals in our network include Parkland and Children’s Medical Center, and many others. The doctors include pediatricians, specialists, and main doctors who can provide routine checkups and immunizations.
