We didn’t hit our crowdfunding goal… but Wombilee isn’t going anywhere.

I’ve been looking into business loans, and yeah… it’s not looking too great. Maybe we haven’t been around long enough, or maybe our numbers don’t show enough. And we all know the stats for Black women-owned businesses aren’t exactly in our favor.

That said, I’m seeing a few little sun rays 🌤, and that’s enough to keep moving forward.

💔 Transparency Time 💔
We may be out of our Graphene Moderate & Heavy pads for a bit. Between tariffs and a slow economy, sales just aren’t moving fast enough to outpace our expenses and cover restock costs. And restocking? Without adding on the tariffs, it takes $15–$20K. No VC funding here; just self-funding, loans, and deep belief in what we do.

✨ But we still have plenty of our Graphene Super Heavy pads + Daily Liners from our 2024 restock!

Wombilee is built with purpose and love. I, founder C.Nichole, pay back the SBA loan out of pocket and have never taken a dime for myself, making sure to pay others first. Because healthier, safer period care is worth it. Less than 1% of VC funding goes to Black women founders, less than 2.3% go to women period. We’re changing that, one pad at a time.
