Happy National Women Physicians Day! ♥️👩🏾‍⚕️ Today, I celebrate the incredible women in medicine who are breaking barriers, advocating for public health, and making a difference every day.

I love what I do—not only in the office caring for my patients but also in the public health space, ensuring policies protect the health of our communities. Here I am at the state capitol advocating for childhood vaccines—because prevention saves lives!

Did you know? Women make up more than 37% of active physicians in the U.S. and over 50% of medical students today! We stand on the shoulders of trailblazers like Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree in the U.S. in 1849.

To my fellow women physicians—thank you for your dedication, resilience, and passion. Keep paving the way!
